Pointdexter is internationally licensed and streamed through soundreef, and in the last year have been streamed over 250,000 times in 6,059 locations. Pointdexter's Music Video Puma Love has been featured on National Television, Direct TV’s New Music Channel.

• Pointdexter has been featured at Sacramento's Concerts in the Park, and has opened for notable bands like SHAED. They have also performed the official Concert in the Park after party for Franz Ferdinand.  
• Pointdexter has performed at the Tree Harvest Festival, City of Trees, and Warped Tour opening up for Odezza, Bastile, Chvrches, Dirty Hearts, and Blue October.

Pointdexter can perform a 1-3 hour set, consisting of highly produced originals, as well as covers.  All covers are reworked to have their own original spin.

Pointdexter is finishing up a new album titled “Forces of Nature”, and has released a single from that album titled “Let Your Hair Down” featuring Shane Q from NBC’s the Voice.  They have several more songs with Shane that are scheduled to be released in 2020. 

Pointdexter has opened up for the following notable bands

• Houses and Flora Cash for the Radio 94.7 Music Discovery series , We the Kings at Sacramento State Concert Hall, Ronnie Montrose and Dramarama at The Boardwalk in Orangevale

Pointdexter is led by front man Kevin Kinsella, who formed the band while attending college obtaining his Mechanical Engineering Degree.  While in college Kevin met best friend Jarom Horner. Jarom and Kevin shared passion in music that led to them writing music together.  Jarom introduced drummer Keywan Ryland and Rob McCord.  They have a shared vision of writing music that can engage a mass audience with originality and artist integrity.  Pointdexter’s music is all about inspiration, determination, love, self-empowerment, and how those elements come in and out of your life.  Kevin Kinsella has collaborated with several artists throughout his career; producing, performing, and recording with artists such as Arden Park Roots, Shane Q, NYTVZN, Centersight, Boy Indigo, Wade Graves, Our People, and The Alberston Duo.
